About Us

We can see a lot a lot of cafes on the streets providing different levels of products and services. Some of them provide room for people chatting, meeting, writing, drinking and eating, or just sitting there without doing anything. Customers, in this case, do not really care about the coffees served by the cafes and they need only room for different purposes.

We do not want to become that kind of cafes since we really care about our coffees and we do want to share every single lovely part of coffees with all people. We are eager to figure out how to cultivate good coffees, how to pick good coffees, how to process good coffees, how to roast good coffees, how to store good coffees, how to grind good coffees and how to brew good coffees.

To say is one thing, to do is another. It is not easy to study all the papers on every coffee subject in terms of coffee life cycle. After studying, the experiment is a must to prove that we are doing the things right. Then, we are able to accumulate all our experience and knowledge.

However, we found that we with limited manpower would contribute too little to the world. Then, we decided to build up a platform on which we are going to build a knowledge system, actually from crop to cup. We call this platform a lab, Kabarnlab. Kabarnlab’s “ka” stands for kaffe. The meaning of Kabarnlab is the lab in the kaffe barn. We study, experiment on and share everything to and from the kaffe barn. In other words, we study, experiment on and share everything from coffee cultivation, picking, processing, roasting, storage, grinding, brewing and even tasting. Actually, not only can everyone learn from this platform, but also contribute to this platform. This platform in turn contributes to the world, to build up a beautiful world.

In addition to coffee itself, the coffee knowledge system includes everything in our beautiful lives related to coffees, such as the good snacks, the good decorations, the good music, which would make our coffees better and then make our lives even better.
